General Membership 

STEP 1: Review the standards check list to see if your club meets WPL Requirements 

  • Clubs must have a minimum of six teams to qualify for admittance into the WPL. 
  • Clubs must be able to show proof of having fields to play matches on. 
  • Clubs must have a Developmental plan for their Club and Players.  Here is a link a sample Develop program 
  • Club must have a website that is active and kept updated with Club and Contact information
  • All coaches must have League-approved coaching credentials from either US Soccer, United Soccer Coaches  or UEFA organizations. Please see Coaching Education page for minimum coaching requirements.
  • Coaches cannot coach in the WPL without meeting the minimum standards for coaching credentials. 
  • Clubs must have a minimum level of personnel to handle all club related issues including: 
    • Director of Coaching/Club President
    • Registrar/Treasurer 
    • Administrative Lead/Referee Assignor/Field Scheduler
